Michaela Kadlecová (19 years old) and Adam Motloch (22 years old) are two young entrepreneurs from the Czech Republic, who run an educational venture “To das!”, which provides expertly tailored, customer-centric mock admission tests and tutoring for young kids in the Czech Republic. They also focus on helping kids with learning disabilities.
Starting in 2017 (when Michaela was still attending Secondary Grammar School), they since helped over 1900 students. Their venture now has almost 40 employees, including a team of 15 teachers.
Together with managing and growing the venture, Michaela and Adam are also studying – Michaela is attending the University of York and Adam is currently a student here at the University of Glasgow.
We will talk about running a service-based business, developing a competitive advantage, building effective relationships with external partners, marketing wins and fails, as well as using technology to support excellent service delivery.
