He is the Founder of Hailer Technologies, a pan-African on-demand mobility service. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, in the research area of advanced wireless sensor networks and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Earned an MSc Degree in Information and Communication Engineering specializing in Robotics from Shandong University of Science and Technology in Shandong, China. He has a vast industry experience in the field of embedded systems design having started his career as a junior embedded design engineer at MH Automation to a seasoned research and development electronic engineer at Econet Wireless. He is a self-taught data scientist, an IoT evangelist and a strong proponent of disruptive technologies that are sweeping across various industries. He is a strong advocate of entrepreneurship in the domain of Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning related disciplines because data products are driving the next industrial revolution leveraging on converging internet technologies.
