Social Entrepreneur, Mr Lawrence Khekhe is the CEO of Eyethu National Computer College a 100% young black-owned company established to address the enormous IT and computer skills gap needs of the South African community and Founder of Lawrence Khekhe Educational Foundation a Non-Profit Organization aimed at meeting the needs of disadvantaged youth through, Education and Sports Recreation.
Lawrence Khekhe is the Founder and CEO of Eyethu National Computer College. “Eyethu Skills Development Institute is a 100% young black-owned company established to address the enormous IT and computer skills gap needs of the South African community (society). We will play a vital role in creating and maintaining an educated, competent and skilled youth in the South African schools and tertiary institutions in building capacity for the future workplace. Eyethu Skills Development Institute Is an established education and training institution in the Information Technology industry. The company will focus its core business activities on computer services and developmental training (ICT)”
He has been in the space of ICT training for the last 10years started as a volunteer in the nearby Primary school after completing his computer training studies. He has worked with various government stakeholders and private companies to provide one stop ICT training skills development. Having worked for a number of years as IT Specialist ad trainer in big, reputable firms. He took Courage from his various side passion projects in order to embark fully on his business journey
He is also the founder of Lawrence Khekhe Educational Foundation a Non-Profit Organization aimed at meeting the needs of disadvantaged youth through, Education and Sports Recreation. It is a Campaign and a Lifestyle Brand that promotes a healthy, productive and successful living and a positive sexuality among the youth of South Africa. Lawrence supports various charity organizations and ensures that not only him, but also other community leaders in South Africa establish mechanisms, no matter how big or small, to give back to their respective communities. Some of his humanitarian efforts also include food, school Uniform and clothing distributions in many of our disadvantaged communities, Hospice visitations, and much more. Lawrence Khekhe is an epitome of popular culture, and is described by some people as a philanthropist and a person who has a heart to give.
Lawrence holds Diploma in ICDL with Rosebank College, Business Management with Unisa and IT Technical Support with NCC. He holds certificates of leadership empowered by Dr Richie Achukwu.
