Partnerships & Content Manager, Events - Startup Grind
Primary roles include…
Booking top-talent for our four major Conferences in Silicon Valley, London, LA, and Australia
- Responsible for recruiting, inviting, and confirming high-level, brand name founders, CEO’s, investors, media, for mainstage + breakout sessions *see past speaker list below
- Work closely with the VP of Marketing + Partnerships and CEO to come up with ideas
- Manage PR Firm and some VC relationships for Startup Grind Conferences.
Developing a Content Strategy for Events
Identify themes and relevant subject matter as it relates to startups, funding, entrepreneurship to help develop a content strategy for each event, stage, etc.
Speaker Programming + Coordination
Manage confirmed speakers - collect and organize all marketing materials; work with PR teams to determine topic, title, date/time, prep-calls, media needs, moderators, speaker welcome packets, on-site logistics, etc.
Own our speaker database - constantly research and organize future, current, past speakers
Editorial / PR
Write and/or edit newsletters, conference-related articles, ads, marketing materials, speaker packets, speaker + press speaking invitations, press releases, etc.

Have the opportunity to travel including London every June
Work from our office in Redwood City, CA - right off of Caltrain (once per week in SF if based there)
