Partner Success Manager

Startup Grind is looking for a new addition to our Partnership Success team.

The right person would have a general interest in helping others and building relationships.

You’re data-driven, solutions-oriented and can think on your feet. You’re a multitasker and want the chance to own projects from start to finish. You are highly organized and have an acute attention to detail.

You will work closely with sales, community and events teams, focusing primarily on the delivery and fulfillment of partnerships and conference sponsorships. Our two flagship conferences take place in February and September. Once we’re hosting live events again, you will travel to both events as the main point of contact for sponsors on-site. Our 2021 Global Conference will be virtual in February, so you will be working remotely on it this year.

The Partner Success team operates a 4Rs objective: Build relationships and deliver positive results that lead to retention and renewal.

As a Partner Success Manager you will be responsible for delivering on sold sponsorships, ensuring contract deliverables are met, expectations are exceeded, and all parties are satisfied. The day-to-day of this role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Interfacing with partners in a professional manner and on a regular basis, corresponding often via email, phone, zoom, etc for kickoff calls, regular check-ins, and fulfillment needs
  • Creating and owning highly organized deliverables calendars/documents for all partners
  • Tracking data/metrics against deliverables throughout a sponsorship or campaign, preparing for monthly reviews and partner recaps
  • Coordinating all logistics required to prepare for and deliver on Conference sponsorships, both live and virtual, working cross-functionally with the events team (including content, social, marketing, etc) as necessary
  • Overseeing all marketing materials with regard to sponsor branding, with an eye for perfection
  • Organizing proposals, contracts and invoices to keep the Partner Success Management platforms up-to-date.

There is a significant growth opportunity for the right person in this role. You’ll be given a lot of responsibility, learn a lot, and have the chance to become a big contributor for the company as a whole. You’ll be joining a small startup that’s built by a hard working team of great people.

  • 1-3 years account management or customer success experience preferred
  • US time zone. We’re a remote team - work from anywhere, but a U.S time zone is preferred

If you think you’re a fit for this role, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your CV/resume to
