Is Artificial Intelligence really eating the world?
Dear Startup Community,
Artificial Intelligence is on everyone's lips. And Germany is on the rise: As appliedAI, the initiative for applied Artificial Intelligence at Munich's innovation center UnternehmerTUM recently published, there are 214 very promising AI startups entering the game which are founded and based in Germany. However, the researches note: 'Currently, the US and China are leading in the adoption of AI, so it’s no surprise that the majority of the 100 best AI startups in the world are American or Chinese (see CB Insights AI 100 list). Although Germany is one of the world’s powerhouses of industry, with a particularly strong network of SMEs, it is underrepresented in the number of top AI startups. In 2018, not a single German AI startup made the cut, and in 2019 just one Berlin-based startup (Twenty Billion Neurons) made it to the AI 100 list.'

Taking a look at their top 214, Berlin is the place to be for AI development and many businesses started from here, amongst them BrighterAI, i2x, micropsi industries - and of course that very Twenty Billion Neurons mentioned above. So what could be more obvious than to make this topic at our community events?:
