Neda Morrar recently obtained her International Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, a joint program with Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She currently works at the Palestine Telecommunications Company (Paltel Group), the leading telecom provider in Palestine. In 2012, she was selected as one of the Top 50 female Telecom Executives in the Middle East and North Africa region. Neda’s first exposure to the startup scene took place at a Ramallah Startup Weekend, and although her team didn’t win, Neda was excited and hooked. As a result of her growing passion, from 2013-2015, Neda volunteered at a Palestinian startup called Yamsafer, an online travel website which enables travelers to book a vast inventory of Middle Eastern hotels online at discounted prices. Yamsafer is the first venture capital round to close in Palestine and is the first Palestinian startup to attract investment by a foreign VC. She is passionate about ICT and engaging with the growing entrepreneurial community in Palestine. She currently lives in the West Bank town of Ramallah and loves to travel whenever possible.
