It's portfolio of ventures and affiliations include HOMESPLACE, a FinTech startup working to provide a hybrid residential mortgage leveraging crowd funding ; Tech Beach Retreat, an annual gathering of 250 tech influencers held in Montego Bay, Jamaica; Startup Grind, the largest entrepreneurial community in the world designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs, The Centre for Corporate & Startup Partnerships and The Centre for Government & Startup Partnerships, Think Tanks and consultancies that facilitate and champion strategic partnerships between Corporates/Governments and startups and #InThamesValley, an initiative curating and championing the Thames Valley ecosystem.
He has a deep desire for social impact and this is recognised in his role as Founding Curator for the Global Shapers Edinburgh Hub. The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum and is a network of Hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a contribution to their communities.
His commitment to helping entrepreneurs was recognised in 2016 by the Centre for Entrepreneurs. He was listed on The Maserati 100, the annual list which recognises entrepreneurs who are generously giving their time and resources to support the next generation of young entrepreneurs. Phin is a Fellow of the Centre for Entrepreneurs.
