Richard Purcell is an East Coast native who’s always been selling something. He was enticed by the allure of Silicon Valley and wanted to take a shot at selling amongst the best. In 2014, he packed up nothing but his clothes and his car and moved from North Carolina to Palo Alto. At Medallia, Richard implemented best practices of prospecting to executives and launched sales efforts for their first SMB product. As the first North American Sales Director at Performance Horizon he instituted a lean-startup mentality to acquire the company’s first clients in new verticals and territories. Richard currently works at Hustle as Senior Manager of Business Development to expand the product outside of political campaigns.
