About Me

Ms. Sakhile Moremi is the founder and Director of SK Heights Pty Ltd, a 100% black owned company with its core business being; • Property Investment • Construction Supplies and Maintenance • Management Consulting She is also the Director for Startup Grind Vaal Triangle region, situated in Gauteng. StartUp Grind as powered by Google for Entrepreneurs is the largest global independent startup community founded in Silicon Valley, which actively educates, inspires, and connects entrepreneurs in over 250 cities across the world Sakhile is passionate about transformation through the development of woman and our youth. In addition to her busy schedule as both an entrepreneur and mother, she is actively socially conscious and is the founder of a school-based program Junior Wealthy Leaders focused on Equipping our children and youth with financial and entrepreneurial literacy. The program also encourages reading for children through publishing of personalized storybooks and engaging children with learning material that aim to conscientize them on who they are as children of the African soil. Having worked for a number of years within the Immigration Branch of the National Department of Home Affairs, Sakhile drew courage from her various side passion projects in order to embark fully on a journey as an entrepreneur. Sakhile completed her first Diploma Retail Business Management in 2008 with the University of Johannesburg, where she was also a Departmental Student Representative in the Marketing Department. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management from the Regenesys Business School. She further obtained a Certificate in Project Management and is currently completing her certificate in Commercial Property Development. Her next goal is to enroll for her Masters in Business Leadership (MBL). Her experience in both the public and private sector coupled with starting her own business has been the driving force for her to assist others especially women and the youth to succeed in their own business domains with her specific contribution being on entrepreneurial literacy and leadership. Beyond building her own business for her children’s future, Sakhile dreams of establishing a legacy that encapsulates the spirit of entrepreneurialism in our youth.
