Kenneth Mims is an experienced science educator and founder of Science Prep Academy, a STEM based private school for students with Autism. Specializing in educational solutions for students with Autism he has traveled extensively promoting science and technology and the right of all students to have equal access to high-quality education. Mr. Mims calls education the most important issue facing the nation. Preparing young people for success in life is not just a moral obligation of society but it is also a prerequisite for economic development. He has earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Hampton University and a master’s degree in science education from Georgia State University. Mr. Mims is a Marshall Memorial Fellowship, New Leaders Council and National Hope Street Teacher Fellowship Alumni.
