About Me

Born and raised in Uruguay, I moved to Rochester, NY to pursue my undergraduate degree in Finance with minors in Computer Science and Gender & Women Studies at the University of Rochester. Back home, I worked in the software industry for a year and a half as a Quality Engineer and I also became involved with the movement of Women in Tech in Uruguay. Having a strong drive for social impact, I am passionate about reducing the gender gap in STEM, especially in the startup community. I like engaging with the entrepreneurial ecosystem by doing outreach, creating digital content, and building relationships with the community. I have experience working with SCRUM and Agile, and working with remote teams. Deeply interested in technology, in particular to use it for social change, I am looking forward to joining the startup world and working with accelerators, incubators, and Venture Capital firms to continue developing the power of technology.
