Startup Grind Chapters around the world will be spotlighting 75 female founders this May and Houston has joined them. At the Startup Grind Global Conference this past February a renewed commitment has been made to see change within the Startup Grind brand and global community.
Startup Grind chapter directors say it is hard for them to find female entrepreneurs to speak. With women starting companies at 1.5 times the national average the, they are consistently poorly represented in tech, accelerators, co-working spaces and startups events around the world.
