Last February, 1,500 entrepreneurs representing over 30 countries converged in Redwood City, CA for Startup Grind's third annual Global Conference. Last week, we revealed the 2015 event highlight reel - check it out below.
The event was memorable: we were moved by the perseverance of Declara CEO Ramona Pearson, excited by what is to come for Bill Maris and Google Ventures, entertained by the challenges and triumphs of Twitter/Jelly co-founder Biz Stone, and enlightened by legendary (also entertaining) investor Vinod Khosla. Off stage, an endless supply of founders spilled out of the lobby (sorry it was packed! noted for next year) and soaked in every last second of networking time. It’s an electrifying event unlike any other I have been a part of –and I am not just saying that because I run it–this group is unmatchable and this global conference is only getting bigger [and better].
This year, we'll be doubling the size of our space expanding to a tent outdoors, and then some. We'll be running twice as many workshops (led by the engineers behind Facebook, Pivotal, Dropbox...), hosting 100 speakers, flying in 200+ of our Chapter Directors, and finally, bringing together a community of over 3,000 entrepreneurs.
