Startup Grind Bangalore hosted Shradha Sharma from YourStory.in, and the realized she is awesome.
It was great to hear Shradha's journey so far and her experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly, all of it). She also mentioned how YourStory.in has told over 12,000 stores and wishes to tell 1.2Billion minus 12K more stories via her platform (YourStory.in).
She shared how she was making no money for first two years for her venture and how important it is to figure out business plan (or how the venture is going to make money) early on. For Entrepreneurs, she mentioned the importance for de-stressing everyday, find your thing (which de-stresses you) and make sure you spend time doing it everyday.
YourStory is coming up with a new platform for women Entrepreneurs and home-makers called HerStory. They are also spending time and resources on creating better video content and better quality videos for yourstory audience.
We talked about acceptance of women Entrepreneurs in Indian startup ecosystem and how it is changing. It was nice of her to stay back and answer a lot of questions asked by Startup Grind Bangalore participants.
