Startup Grind Bangkok #2: Disrupting the laundry industry by Nithipont, CEO of Washbox24

After a little break in the world of Startup Grind Bangkok, the 2nd edition is coming this Thursday, May 8. This time we are inviting Bond (Nithipont Thaiyanurak), who launched WashBox24 in 2013, to our Q&A session. But what exactly is WashBox24? And what is their plan? We asked Bond to give us quick answers to this, so that the ones who asked themselves the same questions would get an idea about his business. Here’s a little summary:

Launched in 2013, WashBox24 provides Bangkokian with the most convenient laundry services possible. WashBox24 strives to make doing laundry so easy and painless, with a locker and software solution that solves the issue of inconvenient drop off and pick up hours and locations of traditional laundry stores by offering 24/7 service. Furthermore, Washbox24's system will allow customer’s to track orders, register each laundry item with a photo to prevent loss, and even text the customers when their laundry is ready for pick up.

Currently Washbox24 are also actively looking for partners to export operating models and laundry kiosk technology into other major cities in APAC namely Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, to name a few, whilst local franchising remains the key strategy for expansion in Bangkok and Thailand as a whole. To realize this vision, they seek to build partnership with local laundry operators, particularly in big urban cities where there are high density of population and that the laundry locker model could potentially become the permanent amenity for high-rise residential and commercial buildings.

This however is only an introduction of what WashBox24 is all about. We are sure that this upcoming Startup Grind Bangkok will be very informative and tons of fun for young entrepreneurs from all kinds of fields.  Looking forward to see you at HUBBA Coworking Space on Thursday, May 8 at 6:00 P.M.!
