With a potential of over 10 million users, Bangkok seemed to be a promising city and a good reason to launch the company in Thailand. The app, which helps users finding a cab and dealing with the infamous “denying taxi driver” problem, is listed first on TechInAsia’s “10 taxi apps you can use across Asia” and is now one of the world’s leading mobile Taxi apps, present in 24 countries.
Nicky Surapaitoon, who co-founded Easy Taxi in Thailand, and is now in charge of business development of the company, will be protagonist of the next edition of Startup Grind Bangkok.
