In our forthcoming 4th event, we will talk entrepreneurship & restaurateaurship with Marcos Alves, one of the brightest young entrepreneurs in Spain.
The speaker
Marcos has always been working in the restaurateaurship sector, since he started working in France in the year 2000. He developed a career working for JTECH France and then JTECH Spain before he became a founder of LaFourchette, which is the French brand for Eltenedor.es. Eltenedor is a leading website for restaurant booking in Spain, like Lafourchette is in France & Switzerland.
Recently, Eltenedor made the papers when it got acquired by TripAdvisor for an unrevealed amount. Which will surely be one of our questions in Tuesday's fireside chat.
The event
The event's topic is entrepreneurship in restaurateaurship. Therefore, our first hour presentations will cover this subject with the best speakers in town.
Our food innovators Dribble Dots will deliver an inspirational talk about creating an interesting brand ready to sell millions. If you have never seen Jason Clevering doing a presentation, it's your time to do it. He's a real rockstar.
Mariano Najles, CEO at Muns.cat, our food sponsor and easily the best Argentinian empanadas in the country, is giving a talk of how did he come up with the idea of the Muns. He created a food-based start-up, applying lean methodologies, and came up with these mouth-watering delikatessen.
We will also have the Cookbooth co-founder Victor Fortunado to talk about Cookbooth. Cookbooth is one of the hottest start-ups in Barcelona. He will provide an inspirational talk about their experiences in Silicon Valley.

The event will take place on July, 15th at 18.30. The venue is the same as the last time: Mobile World Centre in Plaça Catalunya (C/Fontanella, 2).
