Chris is a co-founder of Gazelle Sports, which began in Downtown Kalamazoo in 1985. A goal in the very beginning of the r
etail store was to give back to the community. Now with two additional locations in Grand Rapids and Holland, they are able to measure how they impact the communities as a Certified Benefit Corporation (B Corp).
Chris' areas of focus are Community Outreach, Marketing, Web Site and Downtown Kalamazoo issues.His favorite part of working at Gazelle Sports is being surrounded by a culture of people, employees and customers, who support healthy living.
Chris is a recognizable figure in the community, especially at Gazelle Sportswear sponsored events. The MLive article shows Chris cheering on participants at the One One Run. which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kalamazoo.
