Cate Dyer founded StemExpress, a global provider of tissue for medical research, in 2014 with just $9 k. She got the idea for StemExpress when she was 19 years old and worked at a hospital where she saw that viable tissue for medical research was simply not collected. In only four years, StemExpress has grown to $6 M in annual revenue and just recently made the Inc 5000 List at No. 363. Her advice to entrepreneurs:
- Don’t worry about making mistakes. Learn from your mistakes; they are part of your journey
- Hire to your weakness so you can focus on your strengths
