I recently visited Startup Grind North Bay Chapter and they have a new program where they are offering free tables to early stage startups that allowed them to show case their company. This led to a very interesting event. So along with the normal networking and fireside chat, you had this great opportunity to meet new local startups and see what they’re doing. For the startups, it gave them an opportunity to demo their product, get beta testers, possibility recruit people, and provided exposure to investors.
Imitation being a sincere form of flattery, Startup Grind Sacramento will be doing the same thing. Going forward we will offer two slots a month for early stage startups to showcase their business at our Startup Grind events starting with our next event featuring John Bodrozic. Rich Foreman is the founder of KidneyLuv which develops solutions for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. He is also the COO of IGH Naturals. Previously, as founding CTO, Rich led the team that developed the CordicoShield / CordicoFire Wellness App. Cordico was honored with the Sacramento Innovation Award in 2021. After achieving a 7 digit ARR, Cordico was acquired by Lexipol in 2020. Rich has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington, an MPA from Troy State University and was an officer in the U.S. Navy. Rich co-authored his book, "Tap into the Mobile Economy." Rich's blog was listed in Top 20 Marketing Mobile Blogs of 2014.
