Startup Grind-TLV success story

Cinaya

Startup Grind is a growing global community powered by Google for Entrepreneurs. Startup Grind connects startups, entrepreneurs, and investors through the many stages leading to success. They adhere to three main values: Give, Make Friends, and Help Each Other.

Israel, and specifically Tel Aviv, is a startup nation, so it is the perfect place for Startup Grind. Startup Grind-TLV works around the clock to support Israeli startups in various stages, from having a great idea, to having a real company with a real product.

I’d like to share a Startup Grind-TLV success story with you, and encourage you to continue to support Israeli startups.

This success story starts with Giora Goren http://www.linkedin.com/in/gioragoren, a young and ambitious man who used to work as an engineer at Intel, leading the Authentication and Authorization division. Giora had a great idea, and with just that idea, he approached Startup Grind-TLV and asked for their help and support. That idea led to Cinaya.

Today, Cinaya is a company with six full-time employees, business contracts with IBM and Salesforce, and a dedicated team at Deloitte Brightman Almagor Zohar.

Cinaya helps IT departments provide cloud services and be in tune with the business’s needs. More and more, businesses are looking for ways to be secure without inflating business costs.

Cinaya provides a great product. Cloud computing provides high security and reasonable prices, so most companies now use the cloud. They find the cloud to be the most valuable, especially considering those two parameters. Cinaya is just one of the success stories of Startup Grind-TLV, which only started six months ago.

Cinaya’s solution is to provide a control cloud between the Authentication stage (who am I?), to Authorization (what can I do in the network? what access I can get?). The separation between these steps will provide organizations an operative mechanism to minimize cloud costs. Cinaya provides availability, flexibility and alignment to the cloud.

The company has focused on two segments, ID Access Management, and a Cloud Management System. This market segment is poised to grow billions of dollars as more businesses realize the need to develop their cloud system management. Cinaya is already on the right track in meeting business needs.

I spoke with Moran (Massed) Hadar, CPA, Senior Manager at Deloitte Technology Media & Telecommunications (TMT), specializes in accompanying and advising high tech companies including start-up companies, who feels that, based on their experience with startups, they find Startup Grind-TLV to be a great partner. This is because Startup Grind-TLV opens the door to talented entrepreneurs which can leverage the great values provided by Deloitte and Startup Grind in order to grow and success. As for Cinaya, the solution it provides creates a perfect stepping stone into the industry, qualities which have attracted supporters and partners like Deloitte.

Giora said that "Startup Grind-TLV is the ultimate proof for me that people are everything... I approached them with an idea that was not well focused or detailed. It was only an idea, but with Startup Grind-TLV magic was created. Something was born there, and we all loved it from the very first moment.”

He added that “together we will forge a successful path as more and more people and companies join us. This community helped me throughout my journey with their professionalism, connection to the right people and investors, and collaboration.”
