About this event

A live, interactive online event for Maryland entrepreneurs, founders, and small business owners!

🚀 Turn Your Idea Into Software — Without Coding or Big Budgets

You’ve got ideas. Maybe even a clear vision for an app that could streamline your business, attract customers, or generate new revenue.

What’s been holding you back?

* Too expensive to hire developers

* Too slow to build from scratch

* Too technical to figure out on your own

This event shows you a different path.

💡 What You’ll Learn (No Jargon, No Fluff)

In this practical, hands-on session, you’ll discover how today’s AI-powered tools make it possible to build real, working apps — fast and affordably.

We'll discuss:

* How no-code AI app builders actually work (in plain English)

* The fastest way to go from idea → working prototype

* Real examples of small businesses using AI-built apps to generate revenue

* How to validate your idea before investing time or money

* The exact steps to launch your first app in days — not months

 🛠️ See It Built Live

This isn’t just theory.

During the event, we’ll build a simple app live so you can see exactly how it’s done—step by step.

By the end, you’ll have seen:

* What’s possible

* What it takes

* How to get started immediately

* What to do if your app needs additional specialized capabilities

 👥 Who This Is For

This event is designed for:

* Small business owners across Maryland

* Startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs

* Consultants and service providers looking to scale

* Innovation ecosystem members (incubators, accelerators, educators)

* Anyone with an app idea — but no technical background

If you’ve ever thought *“I wish this existed…”* — this is for you.

 🌱 Why This Matters Now

AI has fundamentally changed how software gets built.

What used to require:

* Developers

* Funding

* Months of work

…can now be done faster, cheaper, and with far fewer barriers.

This creates a huge opportunity for Maryland’s business community to:

* Innovate faster

* Compete more effectively

* Build new revenue streams

And once again he is building a huge free online community centered around real-world AI, where regular people can learn, share knowledge, stay up to date, and help one another.

He also teaches at the Maryland Institute College of Art, volunteers with the Maryland Tech Council, TEDCO, the University of Maryland, as well as, co-chairs the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Open Metaverse Interoperability Group.
