The Pathways Pitch is a live business pitch competition taking place on June 19th, 2026, as part of the Pathways to the Economy: Winning The Money Game Conference at UNIBEN. It is designed to find, support, and reward early-stage entrepreneurs who have a real business idea or an already moving business, and who are ready to take it to the next level with funding, visibility, and serious support behind them.

3 winners will walk away with a share of 1,000,000 Naira in grant funding, along with mentorship, coaching, and the kind of exposure that can reshape the trajectory of a business in its earliest and most critical stage.

The Prize Structure

A total prize pool of 1,000,000 Naira will be distributed among three winners on the day of the competition. The prize structure will be announced at the event. All three winners also receive access to post-event mentorship and business development support from the African Center for Enterprise and Capacity Development.

Who Can Enter?

The Pathways Pitch is open to entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:

• Your business is new or existing but not older than 3 years of active operation

• You have an active Instagram handle for your business or yourself as an entrepreneur

• You are willing to participate in the qualification process outlined below

• You are available to attend the conference in person at UNIBEN on Friday June 19th, 2026

This competition was designed specifically for early-stage entrepreneurs. You do not need a registered company or a polished pitch deck to enter. You need a real idea, a working plan, and the drive to show up and compete.
