Sharif El-Badawi
Sharif is a serial entrepreneur and technology executive, who currently serves as a partner to VCs and startups at Google, In his role, he works with top tier VCs and their most promising startups on a ‘One Google’ approach. Over the last five years, he was the Head of Performance Solutions Activation team where he was responsible for the commercialization of Google’s performance advertising products and solutions which cover Mobile, Search and Display. In his role, he focused on helping the world’s largest advertisers reach their marketing objectives, and worked with Google’s product and engineering teams to provide guidance on the needs of marketers.
Tarek Kabrit
Tarek is the co-founder of Seez a mobile app in the AI/Auto space. Seez is the number 3 app on the Apple store and number 5 on android with over 350,000 users in the UAE. Tarek is also a Venture Partner with Al Faisaliah Group in Saudi. Before that he was the Director of Strategy and Business Development at Yahsat, the Aerospace arm of Mubadala (the Abu Dhabi SWF). He also served as a Venture Partner with Wamda Capital, a VC fund based out of Dubai.
David Linklater
Director of Accounting & CFO Services
A seasoned chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in managing private, public and PE/CV backed organisations. Valued for combining strategic planning with tactical delivery through change management, systems integration and performance measurement in a variety of industries including FMCG, Manufacturing, construction, e-commerce and hospitality. Extensive exposure to cross-cultural practices and international business protocols, particularly in North America, UAE and South East Asia. Experienced in cost control, forecasting, business improvement and efficiencies designed to secure and improve profitability in rapidly changing Global settings.
