Best known as the founder of The Cheese Connection, which became the hugely popular Cowan & Lobel, Steve has experienced the very best and worst of business ownership. From choosing an inopportune location; partnerships gone sour, the danger of making emotional business decisions, and the consequences that can result from selecting the the wrong investment partner Steve has seen it all.
But, in spite of what might have appeared to be catastrophic losses, Steve's resilience has allowed him to not only rebound from the brink of disaster, but to glean principles that he now uses to help others. As VP at Anchor Agency, Steve advises emerging tech firms in the IT, E-Commerce, Nano-Technology, Plastics, and Alternative Energy space about Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Services.
