Meet our speakers:

Hazim Hanbali has more than 11 years of experience in game development; he worked on more than 20 published games on PC and Mobile. He graduated from Princess Sumaya University for Technology with a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. He followed his passion for game design and 3D art by starting as a 3D artist at Wizards Productions, worked there on multiple web games.

Hazem joined iArabay as an Art Director, developed and published five mobile educational games. After that, Hazim joined Tamatem Games as a creative director and worked on multiple titles; his responsibility covered guiding and mentoring the art team to achieve the desired vision and goals.

In 2018 he co-founded Mad Hook, an indie game studio that creates casual, hyper-casual, and mid-core games for mobile and other platforms.

Joseph Shomali is a co-founder and the CEO of Play 3arabi, a leading games publisher that focuses on localizing and publishing games in the MENA region. He has been working in the gaming industry for over 15 years in different roles, including programming, production, and product management, and even started some of the region's first game development teams and studios.

Before Play 3arabi, Joseph worked with the Turkish Peak Games that Zynga acquired in 2020.

Lamia Shreim is the Marketing Manager at Tamatem, the leading mobile games publisher in the Arabic-speaking market. Lamia has been engaged in marketing and audience insight within the mobile games industry for six years. The marketing team works across various sub-departments, namely, Data Analytics, User Acquisition, Influencer Marketing, Social Media, Multimedia, App Store Optimization, Search Engine Optimization, and Growth Marketing.
