For the 2nd Startup Grind Amsterdam event, we are happy to welcome Ton van 't Noordende, for a Fireside Chat at TQ!

Ton is a partner at Keadyn VC - a seed stage VC from the Netherlands. Next to that, he's Investor in Residence at StartupDelta, working closely together with HRH Prince Constantijn, on a mission to break open the European investment scene. His personal goal is to empower one million entrepreneurs by 2020.

We're lucky to catch him while he's in his native Amsterdam, because he's currently on a European tour - traveling to 35 cities in 8 months, meeting with key the influencers in tech, to discover the origin stories of those cities and to get insights on the 'secret sauce' of entrepreneurship.

Ton also Founded Angel Island (angelisland.co) in 2016 with the purpose of connecting the unconnected. They rented an island near Amsterdam, some tall ships and got together a curated group of 200 angel investors & 200 early stage founders and 'locked' the island. No pitching allowed, no keynotes, no name tags and a strict "zero asshole policy". The idea was to level the playing field and meaningfully connect these two groups. Second edition will take place on Sep 26.

We'll hear more about all these things, but also learn how it all began - with Ton's founding story and how he managed to successfully launch three online ventures, what he learnt on the journey, right up to what he's doing now.
