June marks one of our favourite annual themed months at Startup Grind: #SGWomen's Month!
Although we celebrate women leaders all year round, during #SGWomen's Month we give special kudos to the amazing, incredible, intelligent (we could go on and on!) women who make the tech, investor, and startup landscape what they are today.
Supporting female entrepreneurs, has the potential to create jobs, increase incomes, lift thousands of households out of poverty, and lead to greater economic and social transformation. However, women tend to enter into entrepreneurship activities at a lower economic level than men, with female entrepreneurs operating informally and concentrated in low productivity sectors with limited potential for growth.
The narrative is changing as entrepreneurs like our speakers are making the efforts to provide the needed support.
Since the Narrative is changing, then someone is telling a story that People are actively paying attention to.
As a female entrepreneur, how do you find your voice? How can your voice be heard in a multitude of other voices trying to drown yours?
It takes courage and grit.
Join us in this event as our speakers explore these issues and many more.
