Haris Karonis is the founder and CEO of Realize group of companies, Viva! and Viva Payments. He started in 1996 as Sales & Marketing Manager at Groovy Net (one of the first internet service providers in Greece) and one year later he was appointed General Manager. In 2000 he founded Realize, a leading company based in Athens which has been at the cutting edge of technology offering integrated communication solutions, corporate communication and transaction based marketing for various large corporations from different business sectors. In 2005 Haris founded Viva! Online Services as an alternative to other offline and online travel agencies, knowing that he could create the most user friendly and fast interface for online bookings, while at the same time offering the best possible prices online. In 2010 Haris Karonis founded Viva Payments which offers innovative payment services to businesses and professionals, combining maximum security with flexibility and support. As a Payment Institution, the company operates under official license by the Bank of Greece. In 2013, his company launched "VivaWallet", a mobile app that revolutionize the way people travel, buy tickets and pay for services. For the first time in Greece, a full portfolio of online services is available in one mobile app.
