About this event

Celebrating our first event of 2021, Startup Grind Auckland is back and has the privilege of hosting Josh Robb! Josh is Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Tend Health.

Tend Health was formed by Josh Robb, Cecilia and James Robinson, the founders of My Food Bag, alongside top public health doctor Mataroria Lyndon following reports of a looming healthcare crisis with nearly half of the country's GPs expected to retire in the next eight years. Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit New Zealand, there have also been multiple reports from health experts saying people are too scared to visit see a doctor.

The new digitally-led medical service dubbed Tend, hopes to combat that burden by offering virtual and in-clinic consults, immediate access to medical notes, e-prescriptions and follow up messaging with qualified doctors.

During this fireside chat, we will explore Josh's international journey building products in the startup world to where he is now, and where he and the team hope to take Tend Health in the future.
