Wendy Thompson’s first years in her own business were full of senior marketers and CEOs telling her that “social media is just a fad”. She ignored them.

Her firm Socialites is now the largest in NZ with clients a veritable whos-who of NZ corporates including Spark, Mitre 10, House of Travel, Sovereign and Cancer Society. And like the growth of social media she shows no signs of slowing down, recently featuring in the 2015 Deloitte Fast 50 and Tech Asia Pacific and hauling in a host of industry creative and effectiveness awards. Oh, and shes just launched a SaaS company called Start Social for the 450k strong NZ small business market.
