Friends! We've had a shakeup in our speaker schedule, but the show must go on! We are excited to announce that Amos Schwartzfarb, Managing Director of Techstars Austin, will be joining us for a fireside chat. Super excited about this!
Amos has more than 15 years of sales leadership and strategy experience in software, digital, advertising and entertainment. Before joining Techstars, Amos served as co-founder and Head of Customer Development at Joust. Prior to Joust, Amos served as Vice President of Customer Development for BlackLocus, which was acquired by The Home Depot in 2012. Amos was also Co-Founder and served as COO of mySpoonful, which was acquired in 2011. Prior to mySpoonful, Amos served on the Executive team of Business.com, as Vice President of Sales and Client Services which was acquired by RH Donnelly in 2007. Prior to Business.com, Amos spent 5 years at HotJobs.com during which time went through both an IPO and acquisition by Yahoo!.

Amos Schwartzfarb is the Managing Director of Techstars Austin and author of the best selling book for startup sales, Sell More Faster – The Ultimate Sales Playbook for Startups. Amos began his career as an entrepreneur in the mid 90’s in the Bay Area at Shoreline Mountain Products and HotJobs.com.
Amos Schwartzfarb is the Managing Director of Techstars Austin and author of the best selling book for startup sales, Sell More Faster – The Ultimate Sales Playbook for Startups. Amos began his career as an entrepreneur in the mid 90’s in the Bay Area at Shoreline Mountain Products and HotJobs.com. In 2004 after moving to Los Angeles, Amos founded Work.com which was eventually merged with Business.com where he was VP of Sales. Business.com sold in 2008 and in 2009 Amos moved to Austin and founded mySpoonful with Stacy Horne. mySpoonful was sold in 2012 and Amos joined Blacklocus shortly after. A year later Blacklocus was sold to Homedepot. Amos then went on to found Joust and become a mentor for Techstars in 2013. In 2015, Amos took on the role of Managing Director of the Techstars Austin program where he has run 5 programs and invested in 49 companies through the Techstars Austin Accelerator. In his spare time, Amos loves to hang out with his family, mountain bike and play in the mountains.
