Danielle is a serial entrepreneur, best-selling author, and spokeswoman with a career that spans a decade in the startup world. She founded MissNowMrs.com, an online name-change service with over 370,000 customers. She's the author of The Elegant Entrepreneur: The Female Founders Guide to Starting & Growing Your First Company, designed to lower the barriers to entry for women entrepreneurs.
Danielle Tate is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, spokeswoman, and speaker with a career that spans a decade in startup world. In 2007 she founded MissNowMrs.com, an online name-change service that has scaled to over 370,000 customers in 2 countries. She went on to launch brand extensions such as GetYourNameBack.com, and NameChangeNextStep.com, along with platform extensions including The Married Name Game and MarriageLicenseNow.com.
In 2016 she wrote Elegant Entrepreneur: The Female Founders Guide to Starting & Growing Your First Company, with the mission to lower the barriers to entry and improve the opportunities for success for women entrepreneurs. As part of her mission, Danielle has donated audio downloads of Elegant Entrepreneur to women’s incubators, accelerators, and business groups around the globe.
Danielle is active in the startup community as an alumna of MindShare, advisor to Describli, spokeswoman for Empowered Women International, a non-profit that uses entrepreneurship education to empower immigrant, refugee, and at-risk women in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, mentor to the cohorts of Empowered Women International, and super connector of female founders.
As an entrepreneur and thought leader, Danielle has been featured in numerous publications and media outlets, ranging from The Washington Post, Forbes, Fortune, InStyle, Huffington Post, Investor’s Business Daily, Reuters, Kiplinger, Business News Daily, The Washington Business Journal, Verily Magazine, Technical.ly, DCInno, DC Trending, and Bethesda Magazine. Danielle holds a BA in Biology from McDaniel College.
