She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with BSc.Hons (Physics), Former faculty member in the Finance & Control Area at IIM, Bangalore (IIMB). She has 25 years work experience. She held VP-Ernst&Young, COO-NSR Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at IIMB, VP- CTD/NVCF Project of USAID. She Has been Board/Committee Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, IIMB, Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry & TiE Her AREAS OF EXPERTISE includes Business and Financial Planning, Business Model, Venture Capital, Funding Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship,Valuation, M&A, Due-diligence,Women Empowerment and Leadership Mentoring & Coaching Speaker 2 : Pallavi Gupta | Co-Founder, Mast Kalandar Pallavi grew up in Ludhiana in Punjab, did engineering from Patiala, and then a MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad. Immediately after that she moved to Bangalore where she worked as a retail consultant, first with Wipro and then TCS. She would travel to the top retailers around the world building their IT systems. That's when she and Gaurav (who was in Wipro and Planetasia and who she married in 2002) thought of starting their own business in retail. "I realised that retail was a sunrise industry and that people's busy lives would create a home meal replacement market in India," Pallavi says. Thus Mast Kalandar was born in 2005. She, together with her husband Gaurav Jain, has now established 34 branches in Bangalore, 7 branches in Chennai, 2 in Hyderabad and 5 in Pune.
