Mr. Dwivedy was the Founder of Hungry Zone and Chief Executive Officer of Just-Eat. Just Eat India was founded on 26 July 2006 as HungryBangalore by Ritesh Dwivedy.In August 2008, HungryBangalore was renamed as HungryZone. The objective of widening the reach of the company to several Indian cities was realized now by the first round of funding raised from the Indian Angel Network.On 17 January 2011, HungryZone announced a partnership with Just Eat.Just-Eat bought a 60% stake in HungryZone Justeat (earlier known as Hungryzone) has been acquired by Rocket Internet in January 2015. Barely a couple of months after Rocket Internet-backed Foodpanda announced the acquisition of rival JustEat’s India business, Ritesh Dwivedy, chief executive of JustEat India, is back in the fray with an online quick-service restaurant Petoo. Dwivedy started the venture in March with funds pooled in from his personal resources and the two other co-founders, former head of operations at JustEat India Abhishek Mandal and digital marketer Kumar Setu.
