Nitish is a young Social Entrepreneur who has been working to mitigate climate change through business, social activities and inter governance projects. He majorly works with a green technology: IR Reflective Paints, which help envelop the urban infrastructure with paints which cool the surface it has been applied on. This can directly help mitigate the temperature rise and reduce the energy usage in cooling and HVAC systems.
With this he has also leads and manages youth oriented social action in the segment of waste managements, urban forestation and Miyawaki technology, Urban planning and smart city infrastructure, climate education and humanitarian aid projects through GCGC Foundation.
He is a registered UN-YOUNGO member and actively engages in the policy making process to inculcate voice of the youth in climate governance. His engagement in Youngo stems with the soul objective to make the Youth "Climate Conscious" and increase their on-ground engagement in developmental projects of various stakeholders: NGOs, Corporates, Governments, International Organisations etc.
He firmly advocates that Youth should be involved in CORE ACTION projects rather than just advocacy policies. He feels that the people who are going to be the most effected by the climate change should be at the fore front of every aspect of the efforts towards climate change.
He has worked with thousands of youth in the past and has realised their potential and thus, he aims to involve other motivated individuals in the Movement to make the Earth a better place tolive in.The GCGC foundation is a registered NGO from Vadodara Gujarat which has been taking up projects to implement Green Technologies to increase environment sustainability in the way of life and help provide knowledge and activities to combat environment caused issues. They have been operating in Vadodara and Pune (via Bloom foundation) to affect numerous lives.
