Andrew Petersen is an award-winning entrepreneur striving to ensure the sustainability of our oceans around the world. Serving as Bluefin Data's CEO, Andrew has built the team responsible for their software application named VESL used to track how fish are captured and discarded. VESL streamlines the reporting process for the seafood industry while collecting critical data required by fishery's managers and scientists. VESL currently serves the US with plans to expand into fisheries around the globe.
Andrew has been featured by Biz New Orleans New & Nobles and the New Orleans Magazine People to Watch. As a business enthusiast, frequent traveler, and advocate for marine technology, Andrew proudly lives in his native city of Baton Rouge, LA with his wife and daughter.
