Startup Grind is one of the biggest communities of entrepreneurs in partnership with Google for Startups. Our mission is to help every entrepreneur in the world. We do so by hosting a monthly recurring event to inspire, educate, and connect entrepreneurs.
In our first fireside chat, we welcome Matthew Armstrong, CEO & Co-founder of Block Lawncare to talk all things startup and his story of finding success. Matthew's path started when he and his co-founder, Jacob Jolibois, decided to pull the trigger and pursue an on-demand lawn care app, where customers could hire mowers from a smartphone. They officially launched the company in January, and in April—exactly 13 months to the day of Armstrong’s initial idea—Block Lawncare cut its first yard.
1. A give first opportunity to get help with your startup. You'll have the opportunity to be introduced to and connect with the right people.
2. A fireside chat with Matthew Armstrong, the CEO & Co-founder of Block Lawncare
3. A networking session in which attendees talk to each other freely over drinks and delicious snacks. There's no Startup Grind where you don't leave with new friends and exciting connections.
Come out for a great night of networking, food, and stories. Be sure to use the #startupgrindBR when posting about the event.
