About The Event

In this upcoming fireside chat, we welcome Cam Jackson, creator of Millennial Park. Cam is a former division one college athlete, and the CEO of Millennial Park. After seeing food trucks serve as a community center, and seeing shipping containers in Jamaica, Cam's interest was sparked.

He took a leap of faith, moved back to Baton Rouge, and launched a purpose-driven business using undeveloped land.

The Speaker

Cameron Jackson, a former division one college athlete and young, black entrepreneur is the CEO of Millennial Park. This is a restaurant and entertainment center in Mid City Baton Rouge, made out of industrial shipping containers. He acquired land on Florida Blvd. from his grandfather which is now known as Millennial Park.

During the first year of business, Jackson has been featured in/on the following: The Advocate, Business Report, Fox News, BR Business Report and 225 Magazine's 2021 People to Watch. He has also been a guest on multiple podcasts.

Jackson's vision of transforming undeveloped land in Louisiana has turned into something no one has ever seen before.  He has transformed Baton Rouge into a family-oriented and friendly place to gather and enjoy the environment, along with some outstanding food.
