Securing a new funding round is a significant milestone for any startup, and often is critical for the continued operation and future scaling of the business. Founders need funds to build and test product prototypes, source the best people for their team, and manage the day to day expenses of the startup.
Fundraising is also one of the hardest most exhausting experiences an entrepreneur will have on their journey. We are excited to welcome Chris Cummings, CEO, and founder of Pass it Down to share his insights on the process. Pass it Down recently raised $860,000 in seed funding.
Chris Cummings is the Founder and CEO of Pass it Down, an award-winning interactive storytelling platform innovating how organizations, and cultural institutions around the world bring their stories to life. Chris originally founded Pass it Down in 2015 as a platform for families to safeguard and tell their stories, preserving their memories digitally. His initial vision expanded to include communities, museums, and other organizations.
Pass it Down has recently raised an $860,000 seed round led by VentureSouth, a top angel investment group in North America, and secured deals with three Fortune 500 companies.
Chris is passionate about building impactful startups that scale to solve global problems.
