We ensure that the group is small and only founders and Co-founders of startups and some of their team members are allowed to participate.
Every Founders Lunch we invite one founder to host the session and talk about a topic that is relevant for other founders.
The Host
Paddy Robertson graduated with a master in aerospace engineering from Bristol, UK and went on to launch several startups in the tech and social venture spaces. He moved to China in 2015 and has since been running Smart Air – a social enterprise combatting air pollution – from its Beijing headquarters.
He focuses on product design, R&D, and spearheading Smart Air’s expansion across Asia. In 2018 he led Smart Air to become the 11th registered B-Corp in the country, whilst developing the social environment in Beijing through mentoring and trainings. When not in the Smart Air Headquarters in Beijing, he'll most likely be found with one of the Smart Air teams in India, Phlippines or Mongolia.
The Topic
Paddy is responsible for overseeing Smart Air's global operations, including BD, marketing, and company growth. Paddy just hit 100% funding after launching a Kickstarter campaign on their brand new air purifier "The Sqair". Paddy will share his learnings and advice on how to successfully run a Kickstarter.
Smart Air is a social enterprise fighting air pollution by offering free information and data on air pollution and providing cost-effective air purifiers.
This is supposed to be an interactive session during lunch discussing common mistakes, best practices, and insights into the topic.
