In this fireside chat with Pauline Laravoire, we'll be talking about Sustainability of organizations and startups and how to achieve it. She is also Co-founder, Y-East, Youth For Sustainability India Alliance and Community Engagement Manager.


Speaker Bio:

Pauline Laravoire hails from Paris, where she also spent the first 25 years of her life. She holds a master’s degree in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris and has developed her expertise in strategy consulting, social entrepreneurship and impact assessment, especially as the co-founder of non-profit AQWA, which supports social enterprises and NGOs through social impact assessment studies.

In 2018, Pauline moved to Kolkata, where she joined Techno India Group as Sustainability Director. As such, she is striving to create more learning and professional opportunities for students in the sustainability sector, especially through her network-based venture Y-East.

Overall, Pauline has developed expertise and passion for building communities of organizations towards sustainability, being notably associated with the following community-based ventures: Y-East, Youth for Sustainability India Alliance and #LearningPlanet.

Startup Bio:

Y-East is social and environmental impact-focused platform aiming at bridging gaps and optimizing synergies between all actors of the sector corporations, NGOs, social enterprises, impact investors, governmental agencies, students and citizens at large... with a specific focus on East and North East India.

Y-East works around 4 main pillars: Community-Building, Action Support, Awareness Raising and Research.
