In 2009 Vicki was crowned Miss Deaf South Africa, and in 2010 she won the title of 1st Princess at the Miss Deaf International in Las Vegas, USA. She also represented South Africa at the Miss Deaf World in Prague in 2011.

Vicki has appeared in various well-known magazines: Sarie, VroueKeur, People, Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine, etc.

She has also been the cover girl of national and international magazines: JUIG, That’s My Girl, Passi, Single!, Sweet Designs, MyMag and CRC’s magazine, Devoted.
