What if the worst startup idea won funding?

Join Startup Grind Boston for a live multiplayer game night built for founders, investors, operators, and anyone who's ever sat through a terrible pitch deck and thought "I could do worse."

Startups Against Sanity is a free browser-based party game — think Cards Against Humanity meets Y Combinator Demo Day. You'll combine absurd Modifier + Idea cards to pitch the most unhinged startup concept to a rotating Angel Investor judge. The funniest pitch wins funding. The most delusional founder wins the round.

No app download. No signup. Just bring your laptop or phone and a willingness to disrupt things that don't need disrupting.

The format:

• 6:00 PM — Doors open, grab the game link, find your seat

• 6:10 PM — Quick intro + how to play (takes 2 minutes, trust us)

• 6:15 PM — Round 1: Standard deck. May the worst idea win.

• 7:00 PM — Round 2: Community custom deck (VC buzzword edition)

• 7:20 PM — Hall of Fame voting — upvote your favorite pitches

• 7:30 PM — Wrap + networking / hanging out

What to expect: Roughly 20-40 players across multiple simultaneous game rooms, spectator mode so no one gets left out, live emoji reactions, and a Hall of Fame leaderboard of the best pitches of the night.
