About this event

“Working in NGO is much more difficult than building a business” Tomas Hasala, CEO, Nexteria.

Tomas is not a typical entrepreneur from the corporation. He began to do a non-profit activity with a group of friends at the end of the 1980s as a part of the protection association. In 1995, he co-founded the Limba.com online booking portal and then he has been president of the Slovak Association of Travel Agents for four years. Since autumn 2014, he has been developing young people as the director of the non-profit organization Nexteria .

So why he decided to leave the private sector?
What are the differences between running a private company vs. a non-profit?
What were the biggest challenges during this time period?
What is the future of the non - profit sector?
