In the podcast we are discussing aspects of usage and development of Autosymed's Corflow system for automated support system for specialist cardiologists to find lesions, identify heart stenosis from medical images using AI and Machine Learning. Calculating Syntax Score is long and tedious, however as a recommended procedure by European Society of Cardiology, it is both a predictor and therapy indicator. Syntax Score is a scoring measure that is used to evaluate the complexity of coronary artery disease based on the anatomical characteristics of the lesions 1. The score is calculated by identification of various factors such as the number of lesions, their location, and severity. The Syntax Score has been shown to be a useful tool in predicting the outcomes of patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) or percutaneous coronary intervention.
