Dan Gigante is founder and president of You and Who, a buy-one-give-one online retailer that sells artist-designed t-shirts and donates matching shirts to people in need across 40 U.S. cities. Launched in 2010, the company has grown to work with 89 non-profits and 105 artists across the country.

Gigante is also a partner at 19 IDEAS, a full-service marketing and communications agency that launched in 2011 and that he joined in 2014. In this capacity, he leads all digital projects, emphasizing in web and mobile app development.

From 2000 to 2010, Gigante helped to establish clevermethod, a web development company based in Elma, NY. Through his guidance, clevermethod grew into a multi-million dollar business, with prominent clients such as Mattel and Birds Eye Foods.

An impassioned advocate for the growth and economic well-being of Western New York, he is a founding organizer for Startup Weekend Buffalo, and is an organizer of BarCamp Buffalo 2014. A native Buffalonian, he served in the Air Force from 1994-1998, and prior to that attended the University at Buffalo for computer science.
