Eric Reich has Campus Labs from its inception to its current place as the leading assessment technology platform in higher education. When Campus Labs was acquired by Higher One in 2012 for almost $50 million, The Buffalo News called Campus Labs “one of the Buffalo Niagara region's most successful startups since the turn of the century.” Under Eric’s continued direction, Campus Labs was again acquired in 2015 by Leeds Equity Partners for $91 million. Today, Eric continues to provide strategic direction for Campus Labs in its next era of product and campus user growth.
Eric holds a JD and MBA from the University at Buffalo and while pursuing his degrees, Eric had the experience of serving as the student representative on the University Council (the equivalent of the Board of Trustees). On the Council, Eric pioneered a system of linking assessment data to the unique challenges of colleges and universities. The system was awarded the Panasci Entrepreneurial Award by the University, forming Campus Labs.
Eric was recently named as a Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 honoree, and he serves on the boards of the Buffalo Zoo and Z80 Labs, Buffalo’s technology incubator.
