Startup Grind is a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. On February 20th, 2019 Startup Grind will take place at The Barrel Factory in the Old First Ward with the three female founders of Revolution Cycling: Colleen, Amanda, and Rachel! Revolution is an indoor cycling studio and fitness center in downtown Buffalo, NY that’s raising the bar on cycling, rowing and group fitness. 

Startup Grind's Buffalo chapter is led by Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus team member, Sean Heidinger, and is typically facilitated at the Innovation Center on Ellicott Street in downtown Buffalo, NY. Due to growing companies and limited space, Startup Grind has taken place in new and exciting venues around the city. The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and Ignite Buffalo are ecstatic to team up for this special event highlighting Revolution Buffalo in the Old First Ward, a legendary neighborhood that plays a large role in the history of the Queen City. 

In 2018, several small businesses from the Western New York area were awarded grants of up to $100,000 through the Ignite Buffalo initiative. Ignite Buffalo, in partnership with 43North, utilized the expertise of national and local partners including Facebook, M&T Bank, Quickbooks, Amazon Web Services, WordPress.com and WooCommerce to give a total of $1 million and 12 months of mentorship to 27 local businesses. Revolution Buffalo received $25,000 through the Ignite Buffalo program.
